10,000 one-minute pieces of music. Always playing, never repeating.
scape.radio is a continuous player I assembled from stems I composed in Ableton — stock synthesizers, sampled drums, an 8-bit feel. Code stitches the stems into 10,000 unique one-minute pieces that accompany a collection of 10,000 digital landscapes. An experiment in letting software take over the arrangement.

Music is magic. It is wiggly air that enters at the ears and asks the body to move and the brain to think. I love making it, and I love helping others to make their own.
In sound, I am primarily interested with texture, contrast, arrangement, and play. It's important to me that music surprises a listener and tugs at the ear to say "hey, wake up!" — in a sea of endless music and algorithmic curation I think it's really important to be a sonic sore thumb.
In practice, I am a generalist; I am a songwriter published by Payday Records. I've released my own music on Ninja Tune, Foreign Family Collective and Universal Music. I love to write, produce, and mix, and I really love helping draw good sounds and songs out of other people.
